Surgical

Getting the help you need

We know how stressful it can be when your best friend needs to undergo a surgical procedure. That’s why we do everything we can to lower your pet’s anxiety level and reassure you that they are in good hands, receiving the highest level of care.

Before any surgical procedure requiring general anesthesia, your pet will be given a pre-surgical physical exam and blood screening, as well as pain medication to lessen their discomfort. Surgical procedures are performed on heated surgery tables designed to maintain your pet’s body temperature, and their vitals will be carefully monitored throughout the procedure.

As soon as the surgery is complete, we transfer the patient to a soft, comfortable bed to recover and receive post operative care.

Our vets have decades of experience performing a wide range of procedures including:

General Anesthesia

Modern day anesthesia practices are generally very safe. To reduce the risks to our patients even further, we perform a physical exam and check blood work prior to their procedure to screen for any underlying health issues that may increase their likelihood of complications.

We monitor all vital signs before, during, and after the procedure to better ensure the safety of your furry family member. Our policy of following a specific and consistent anesthetic protocol for every surgery reduces risk and helps ensure the safety of your pet.
