Update – It is with great sadness that we share, we let our sweet boy, Raymond cross the rainbow bridge. He was such a special cat who was loved very much by our staff. Although we only had about a year with him, we really enjoyed our time with him. We love and miss you, Ray.
Raymond came to Bloom Vet in July of 2021 after his lifelong owner passed away. He is an older kitty, about 16 years old. During the day, the hardest decision Raymond has to make is which one of his cat beds he wants to sleep in. He has a history of kidney disease, which he takes daily medication for. As long as there is a pill pocket involved, he takes it like a champ! He enjoys helping with administrative tasks by typing on the keyboard for the staff. He loves to have a daily dose of catnip. After 8pm, you can typically find Raymond in his recliner napping before bedtime.
BB came to Bloom Vet in July of 2018 after his lifelong owner passed away. He is an older kitty, about 9 years old. During the day, BB enjoys stealing the office chairs, begging for treats, running through the hospital like a herd of elephants, and playing with his red blood cell stuffed toy. In the evening, he looks out the window at his cat girlfriend shredding our window screen. BB makes sure we all know when there are less than 27 kibbles in his bowl. He is always ready for a night on the town in his tuxedo.
We want to introduce our newest feline addition, Spit! In 2023, we performed an amputation of his right front leg, and he has been living with us ever since. He was previously an outdoor cat, so he took a little longer than normal to adjust to living at BVH. He has come a long way since we got him. Now he loves to play, and can walk, run, and jump with no issues!
