How Does the Cares Fund Make a Difference?

The Cares Fund brings together pet owners, donors, Suveto Cares, and our hospital to help make veterinary treatment more accessible. Our hospital's Cares Committee evaluates requests for assistance and determines eligibility according to the program's established guidelines.

Here's how the program works:

  • Pet Owner Contribution

    Approved families contribute a minimum of 25% of their pet's total treatment expenses.

  • Support From Suveto Cares

    Thanks to charitable contributions, Suveto Cares covers 25% of the treatment costs for eligible recipients.

  • Bloomsburg Veterinary Hospital's Contribution

    Our hospital supports approved patients by providing veterinary services at cost and waiving examination fees.

  • Your Donation Goes 4x Further

    With everyone working together, every $1 donated can generate $4 in veterinary care value, helping more pets receive the medical attention they need.

What Is Suveto Cares?

Suveto Cares is a charitable veterinary assistance program serving pets at hospitals throughout the Suveto network. As a member of this network, Bloomsburg Veterinary Hospital is proud to participate in an initiative that brings veterinary teams and their communities together to support animals in need.

The program began with an initial $100,000 raised through contributions from Suveto's CEO, Suveto Legacy Owners, and additional donors. Through the program's collaborative funding approach, that amount has the potential to provide $400,000 worth of veterinary care at participating hospitals across more than 24 states.

Donations to Bloomsburg Veterinary Hospital's Cares Fund are processed through the Veterinary Care Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Contributions are tax-deductible and directly benefit qualifying pets in our local community.
